On May 9,
one of the most important dates of the European Union is commemorated, with the
anniversary of the "Schuman Declaration" pronounced in 1950. Every
May 9, Europe Day is celebrated; a date marked on the calendar in which peace
and unity in Europe are celebrated.
The decision
to commemorate this day was made in 1985. Since 1986, this important day for
all Europeans has been celebrated. A year in which, in addition, Spain and
Portugal entered the European Economic Community.
